2025 NASCAR Cup Series Calendar Leaked – This Is The Reported Schedule

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series is set to witness dramatic changes according to the calendar which has been reported by The Athletic.
For the first time in nearly seven decades, the NASCAR Cup Series will extend beyond American borders for a points race, marking an unprecedented move aimed at globalizing the sport. The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, known for hosting Formula 1’s annual Mexican Grand Prix, is slated for a NASCAR race on June 15.
Ben Kennedy, NASCAR’s executive vice president, commented during the announcement of the new event, as previously reported by Newsweek:
“This has been on our radar for a long time. We’ve been talking about the continued iteration of our schedule, right? You can go back a few years, went to new markets like Nashville and Austin, Texas.

“We went to the Coliseum for the Clash. … We went to our first street race in downtown Chicago, and this is going to be another first for us in a lot of ways. This is going to be certainly a monumental event for us, the first time we’re going south of the border.”
The season opener Clash, traditionally held at the LA Coliseum, will return to its roots in the East. Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a venue steeped in racing history, has been tapped to host the inaugural event.
Notably, the Nashville Superspeedway race, usually a staple of late June, moves up to June 1, placed right after the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
NASCAR is also set to change the crucial playoff segment of the season, which will begin in Darlington on August 31. The ten-race showdown, determining the series champion, will travel through Gateway, Bristol, New Hampshire, and conclude in the desert at Phoenix on November 2.
