3 Dogs Left Alone in Living Room—Owner Films What She Comes Home To

A pet owner’s candid TikTok video showing the chaos left behind by three dogs has gained viral attention, drawing hundreds of thousands of views and sparking laughter across the platform.

The short clip shows what appears to be the aftermath of three dogs being left unsupervised in a living room. The post opens with a shot of a thoroughly destroyed couch—ripped cushions, stuffing scattered, and bite marks everywhere—before cutting to the culprits: two dachshunds and a third small dog, possibly a cavapoo, surveying the wreckage. The lighthearted video was shared on June 22 under @erin_johno87 and has amassed more than 342,000 views and over 25,000 likes to date.

The footage’s comedic punch is amplified by a trending sound bite playing over the scene: “Every day, I wake up and I ask myself, ‘How am I going to be the biggest pain in the ass?'” With no narration or voice-over from the owner, the visual and audio pairing has been enough to leave viewers in hysterics.

To add to the hilarity, one of the dachshunds appeared to have chewed through a couch cushion and somehow gotten stuck inside it, with its head and legs filmed protruding through the torn fabric. The other dogs were captured continuing to explore or bounce around the couch, seemingly unaware—or unconcerned—about the destruction around them.

The video’s tone is humorous, and most responses have leaned into the entertainment value, with several commenters sharing their own pet mishaps, or joking about the apparent teamwork among the dogs. Some commented on the dachshunds’ relentless energy and the unbothered demeanor of the cavapoo in contrast.

“Ooh, I’ve been there too! They are so funny,” one viewer posted.

“Oh dear, the wonderful tunnels of the dachshund,” another added.

“Mine did this to my brand-new couch! I learned from that point they were not trusted inside alone,” a third viewer shared.

Dachshunds, originally bred in Germany for hunting badgers, are known for their persistence, energy and strong prey drive. While their small size and long bodies have made them a popular choice for pet owners living in apartments or smaller properties, their high energy levels can often lead to destructive behavior if not properly channeled.
