Breaking records has become a common occurrence for the Fever star this season. Clark surpassed Seimone Augustus as the all-time rookie scoring leader with a 35-point career-high performance.

Augustus was selected by the Minnesota Lynx as the No.1 pick in the 2006 WNBA draft. The former record-holder scored 744 points in her rookie season. Augustus also won Rookie of the Year.

The Indiana guard officially broke the record with a deep three in the third quarter of the Fever’s 110-109 win over Dallas. Clark now has 761 points with one game left to play in the regular season.

Clark’s final stat line from the night included 35 points, eight assists, and three steals. She was 6 for 14 from the three-point line.

There was a packed-to-the-rafters crowd in attendance of the Indiana home game, despite the Indianapolis Colts also being in town.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse was packed to the brim to watch the rookie play.

“I’m just really thankful,” Caitlin told WTHR postgame. “They continue to show up for us and they make a lot of noise. They’re into it, they’re not just sitting there. They’re invested in this basketball. It’s great for our league. It’s great for every team that gets to play here. I think we’ve had a lot of great battles and they’ve helped us win a lot of games on this floor. Hopefully we can bring the playoffs back here and give them a taste of it because they deserve it. It’s been since 2016. It’s only going to get better and better from here on out.”

Clark is the favorite to win Rookie of the Year. Her arrival in the WNBA brought an unprecedented amount of traffic to the league.

Indiana secured a playoff spot for the first time since 2016. The Fever clinched the No. 6 seed. Prior to the Olympic break, many speculated if the team would even make the playoffs; however, as of late, Indiana is one of the hottest teams in the league.

The Fever close out the season against Washington on Thursday. Fans are eager to witness the team in the playoffs. Indiana has the potential to make a deep playoff run.

One thing is for certain: Clark is unstoppable this season.
