Gabrielle Union Cracks a Saucy Comeback to Husband Dwyane Wade’s Shirtless Reveal

Gabrielle Union knows how to keep the flame alive in her marriage to Dwyane Wade with a bit of cheeky banter.
On Tuesday, October 8, the 42-year-old retired basketball legend took to Instagram to flex more than just muscle. Clad in denim on denim, Wade captioned a series of semi-shirtless shots, “It’s in my genes 🧬👖.”
His sweetie’s reply? “I’m in those jeans 😜,” Union, 51, quipped.

The Bring It On icon’s response sent fans into a frenzy, many of whom dubbed Union’s remark the “best comment ever.”
“YOU AINT WRONG!” exclaimed another, while a third admirer added, “🔥Yes ma’am 🔥❤️.”
But it wasn’t just the 90’s rom-com queen who stirred up the comment section — many followers had reactions of their own to Wade’s post.
“With all due respect to Gab…. my goodness 🔥😛🔥❤️,” one person swooned.
“Looking super super zesty,” pointed out another.
“All I can say is keep it up. You look great.🔥😮,” chimed in a third.
This isn’t Wade’s first foray into posting thirst traps online. A day after celebrating his 39th trip around the sun, the former MLB point guard shared a rather revealing snap captioned, “Birthday behavior‼️” which showed him strategically positioned behind Union. “39 is already looking up 👀 🖤🖤🖤👑3️⃣.” The post quickly caught the attention of their kids, who didn’t shy away from sharing their two cents.
“This isn’t what I wanted to wake up to 🤢,” Zaire, 22, commented on the post. Zaya, 17, kept it light with a quick “Ayooooo chill, I just got on.”
Union and Dwyane first met at a Super Bowl party in 2007 and started dating in 2009 after both had experienced personal upheavals. By 2010, they made their love public, and in 2014, they officially tied the knot.
Since then, the She’s All That star has embraced her role as a stepmother to Wade’s children from previous relationships — Zaire, Zaya, and Xavier, 10. The couple also shares custody of Wade’s nephew, Dahveon Morris, 23. Their family grew in 2018 with the arrival of their first biological daughter, Kaavia James.
“I never wanted kids,” Union told People in a 2017 interview . “Then I became a stepmom, and there was no place I’d rather be than with them.”
