Hysterics at Where Owner Finds German Shepherd Puppy: ’10/10 Recommend’
A dog owner left the internet in hysterics after sharing the unusual place she found her German shepherd puppy. Let’s just say that the pup certainly lives up to her nickname.
The hilarious video was shared on TikTok by Alex (@sharkie_doll), showcasing when the pet owner wandered over to where she stores the dog food and supplies. However, it wasn’t just dried kibble inside the large white container, because the puppy, named Chewbacca (Chewie for short) was helping herself to the food.
After all, there’s no point waiting for her bowl to be filled when she could just go straight to the source.
Indeed, as Alex approached the dog and let her know she’d been caught red-handed, the cheeky German shepherd didn’t seem too perturbed. She merely looked up at her owner and then carried on eating anyway.
Since the clip was shared on TikTok, it has delighted social media users and amassed more than 294,000 views and over 28,900 likes at the time of writing.
Many TikTok users have lauded the dog’s mischievous antics and her complete lack of remorse when she was found out.
When it comes to feeding German shepherds, PetMD recommends feeding them three to four times a day as puppies and then reducing that to twice a day as adults. Typically, a puppy should switch to adult food at around 12 to 18 months old, but this can vary.
Notably, how much they eat should be determined by their specific food and lifestyle. Feeding smaller and more frequent meals can help reduce the risk of bloat, and PetMD says they should not do any exercise 30 minutes before or after eating to reduce the risk of gastric dilation volvulus (GDV).

German shepherds are frequently used as working dogs, whether in the military or police, for patrolling, bomb detection, and search and rescue. The breed has many hallmarks of the ultimate hard worker, as PetMD highlights their confidence, loyalty, bravery and intelligence.
Rather than putting her strong sense of smell to good use, Chewie appeared to use it to fill her belly instead. The cheeky pup seemed to enjoy the buffet of kibble she found.
Since the clip was posted on TikTok, it has amassed over 100 comments as social media users hailed her mischievous behavior.
One comment reads: “No regrets either. She is adorable.”
Another person joked: “Chewie would 10/10 recommend this bed and breakfast.”
One TikTok user wrote: “Warm, cozy, quiet and snacks!”
Another commenter wrote: “Such big ears. But they never listen now do they.”
