WWE Reportedly Offered Rapper Sexyy Red Permanent Position on Roster
WWE has embraced celebrity wrestlers in recent years to excellent results, with IShowSpeed, Jelly Roll, Jason Kelce, and Lane Johnson all creating memorable moments.
Additionally, others like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny have proven they can wrestle entire matches and more than hold their own with WWE Superstars.

In a recent interview with Thomas Hobbs of Dazed Magazine, rapper Sexyy Red revealed that she was offered a “permanent role as a wrestler in WWE.”
However, Red was unable to get the necessary training to wrestle, so she opted to just make a cameo on NXT instead.

In the interview with Dazed Magazine, Red went on to compare rapping to professional wrestling, especially when it comes to handling the pressure between who you are at work and who you are in the privacy of your home.
“Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same,” Red said. “It’s not quite acting, but it’s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes we wear, we then have to go right back to reality with our families.”

Red would continue to find success in 2023 and 2024, with multiple songs becoming certified gold and platinum. Her most recent hits were “Fat, Juicy, and Wet” with Bruno Mars and “Sticky” with Tyler, the Creator, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne.
