Nuggets Injury Report: Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic Status Revealed vs Rockets
The Denver Nuggets will be facing off against the Houston Rockets today as we get a potential playoff preview. Entering this game, Denver currently holds the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, while Houston sits in the No. 2 spot.
This game could have massive playoff implications as the two teams go to battle. But the Nuggets are dealing with some serious injury issues entering this game.

Both star center Nikola Jokic and guard Jamal Murray have again been on the injury report ahead of this game. Jokic has been ruled out due to a lingering injury.

Jokic has missed the Nuggets’ last four games, and there is a feeling that this could be more serious than first thought. Denver isn’t the same level of team without Jokic, and they’ve faltered a little without their leader on the floor.

As for Murray, he has been dealing with a right ankle sprain, limiting him. Murray was listed as questionable entering this game and will play in this contest.

Since the team is already without Jokic, they need Murray to be special if they want to come away with the win. The two teams met earlier in the season, with Houston taking the game.

With how close the playoff race is within the West, this game could determine a lot in the standings. The Rockets enter this game having won nine straight and they are two games up on Denver.
If Houston were to win, they could create some cushion for themselves in the standings, as far as the No. 2 seed. But if Denver were to get the win, they would get right back into the race for the second seed.
Right behind each of them are the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies, just lurking as the season winds down. The race for the top four seeds in the West is as close as can be, so every single game becomes more important at this point in the year.
