WWE Hall of Famer Names Surprising Future ‘Baby Face of the Company’
At the moment, WWE seems to have an abundance of young talent that will surely be in the main event scene for years to come.
This includes Superstars like Lyra Valkyria, Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Roxanne Perez, Ilja Dragunov, and so many more.

One of the main standouts has been “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, a heel who would instantly get boos as soon as he tried to speak.
Now the Intercontinental Champion, a WWE Hall of Famer believes the future is bright for the son of Rey Mysterio/Eddie Guerrero, so much so that he won’t be a bad guy for long.

In an interview with CasinoBeats, WCW legend Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) revealed that he absolutely loves Dominik Mysterio and believes that the crowd will turn him baby face, making him the “biggest baby face” in WWE.
“Now wait a second. Let me ask you though, did you not feel the crowd when Mysterio went over? Did you not feel the entire crowd turning him babyface? They loved it,” DDP said.
“I was there in the front row live and they loved it. Like the kid’s gonna be a hell of a babyface when he makes that flip. Hold onto that heel thing as long as you can, because when he flips, I’ll tell you what that’s a kid I’m a big fan of.
“We both have the same birthday. I love his old man. But I am personally a big fan of how hard he’s worked to get to this spot. I don’t know many young kids who could have come in the way he did with his dad, not really know how to work at all, and has turned himself, man.
“Whoever was in charge of making that happen, they are a king maker because that kid, he has got it all and some. It was interesting because he’s the biggest heel, and yet at that last WrestleMania, boy you swear to God he was the biggest baby face of the company.”

Mysterio’s performance at WrestleMania was truly special, resulting in the biggest pop of the weekend. When he ran back to the ring after winning the title, the crowd completely ate it up.
Additionally, Mysterio continued to prove that he was worthy of holding onto the Intercontinental Championship when he faced off against Penta one-on-one at Backlash 2025.
Mysterio once again became one of the top topics of conversation after the event, largely due to his suicide dive DDT and him hitting Liv Morgan’s finishing move, ObLIVion.
Needless to say, the future looks bright for Mysterio, whether he remains a hell or makes the turn to baby face.
