Ravens’ John Harbaugh Breaks Silence on Aaron Rodgers Joining the Steelers
After months of speculation and rumors, Aaron Rodgers is finally going to be a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The future Hall of Famer joins a team that made the playoffs in 2024 and is predicted to repeat that same success this season.

Rodgers to the Steelers means that the rest of the AFC North will now have to prepare to face one of the best arms in the league.
Considering divisional rivalries are strong, and the teams within divisions play each other twice in a season, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had some choice words for the news.
Ravens’ John Harbaugh on Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers addition: “He’s a Hall of Fame QB, so we’ll have to go against a Hall of Fame QB with one of the premier teams in the league, who happens to be our archrival. So, we’ll be preparing for that.”

Harbaugh broke his silence on the Rodgers situation, stating:

Harbaugh is not one to mince words, and he knows the value that Rodgers brings to the Steelers. Considering the deep-seated rivalry between the teams, those face-offs are going to be energetic.
Though the Steelers team looks a little different, Rodgers will have a high-powered offense that includes DK Metcalf, Robert Woods, Jaylen Warren, and more.
The Steelers have also been working on a deal to bring in current Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith, though there has not been confirmation of that trade moving forward.
Either way, Rodgers will bring a huge presence to the locker room when he joins the Steelers or minicamp.
Harbaugh and the Ravens will now have to prepare to take on the Steelers with a Hall of Fame quarterback. The good news is that Baltimore has been one of the best teams in the league for multiple years.
Behind two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, the Ravens have secured a playoff berth for three years straight. The issue is that Baltimore cannot get past the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs, who are their current nemesis in the postseason.
Now, the playoffs could get even more difficult for the Ravens, as they may run into a situation where they have to take on their divisional rivals with Rodgers at the helm. Though there is no guarantee that the Steelers will be better with Rodgers, there is still a good chance they will be a playoff-caliber team in 2025.
