President Donald Trump has announced that a new round of high-level trade talks between the United States and China.
Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and United States Trade Representative, Ambassador Jamieson Greer, will meet with Chinese high ranking officials “with reference to the Trade Deal” in London on Monday, Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Friday.
“The meeting should go very well,” he said.
News of the negotiations comes one day after Trump spoke via phone with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
