Tommy DeVito Reveals Bonding Activity With Jaxson Dart

This season, the New York Giants find themselves with a loaded QB room. As the franchise navigates its future at the position, two of the younger prospects have found a shocking way to come together.

When Daniel Jones was sidelined for weeks in 2023, the Giants had to call upon undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito to hold things down under center. He quickly became a big story in the NFL due to his life story and his agent’s viral attire. DeVito has remained with the franchise since, starting two games last year after Jones was waived by the Giants.

Based on the roster’s current makeup, DeVito has a tough journey to seeing the field. Not only did the Giants bring in veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, but they also drafted Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 2025 draft. Despite his current situation, DeVito seems to still be doing what he can to be a good teammate.

Though he has multiple veterans to mentor him, DeVito is someone who can also help Dart navigate his first year in the NFL. As the two younger QBs on the Giants roster, they seem to have gravitated towards one another.

During a recent media availability, DeVito opened up on his relationship with Dart since he joined the Giants. They appear to be getting along and have found a rather shocking way to bond outside of football. DeVito revealed he and Dart have been spending time together watching the hit reality dating show “Love Island.”

When he isn’t using reality TV to get closer with his teammates, Dart is preparing for an important rookie campaign in the NFL. The Giants appear to be taking the old-school approach with him, having him serve as a backup in year one. Dart will have the opportunity to play behind a former Super Bowl winner in Wilson before taking the reins as the Giants’ QB of the future. Wilson is expected to open the 2025 season as a starter, and it remains unclear if and when we’ll see Dart in action.

As for DeVito, it’s highly unlikely his Cinderella story will gain a new chapter in 2025. With Wilson, Dart, and Winston all ahead of him on the depth chart, it would take severe bad injury luck for him to find himself back in a starting role.
