Steelers Emerge as Possible Odell Beckham Jr. Fit
Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are headed into the 2025 NFL season in search of a championship run. In what Rodgers has now confirmed to be his final season in the league, the Steelers have shot with him leading the way.
Right now, Pittsburgh has DK Metcalf as its number one wide receiver. However, they could use a much better No. 2 option.
With that in mind, multiple names have been mentioned as possible targets for the Steelers before the start of the 2025 campaign.

A new name can now be added to that list.

CBS Sports analyst Cody Benjamin has named Pittsburgh as a potential suitor for veteran free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
“The Steelers have DK Metcalf as a legitimate No. 1 wideout for Rodgers, but all indications are they’re still exploring additional weaponry after dealing George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys,” Benjamin wrote.
“Beckham may not be the standout he once was, but he’s also been on Rodgers’ radar for years; the Green Bay Packers reportedly tried to land Beckham to pair with A-Rod during the 2021 season, and Rodgers admitted later that he had interest in Beckham following him to the Jets ahead of the 2022 campaign. On a one-year deal, why not make the dream pairing happen now?”
Beckham played the 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins. He appeared in nine games, catching nine passes for 55 yards.
Back in 2023, he played with the Baltimore Ravens. In that season, he racked up 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
At 32 years old, Beckham may still have a little bit left in the tank. Rodgers has always talked glowingly about the former superstar wide receiver. Perhaps they could link up for the 2025 season with the Steelers.

Throughout his NFL career, Beckham has put up big numbers. He has played in 119 total games, catching 575 passes for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns.
Even though he hasn’t played well over the last couple of years, he’s worth taking a gamble on for Pittsburgh. The team needs a No. 2 wideout and it’s possible that Beckham could provide them with just that.
Expect to continue hearing rumors about the Steelers’ wide receiver position. They have been openly searching for another weapon. Whether they have interest in Beckham or not, it would not be surprising to see them make a move in the near future.
