America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities 2026 Survey

🎙️ Voice is AI-generated. Inconsistencies may occur.
As populations age, their care needs change as well. Continuing care retirement communities allow aging individuals to access whatever level of resources they need within the same campus. The levels of care within these communities range from independent living to assisted living and memory care.
In fact, continuing care retirement communities are becoming increasingly popular for those who are still capable of independent living, due to the amenities and convenience they provide. In 2024, occupancy for independent living in CCRCs rose to 91.1 percent, which is the highest occupancy rate among all types of senior living and care settings.
That is why Newsweek is proud to partner with Statista for the third year to evaluate America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities 2026.
Last year, our list encompassed 300 of America’s best CCRCs based on recommendations from professionals in the field and analysis of facility performance data. This year, we aim to provide the same thorough evaluation of this growing industry.
Newsweek and Statista appreciate your participation in our survey.
This survey will be open through September 11, 2025.
