Lions Get Concerning Amon-Ra St. Brown Injury News
The Detroit Lions listed nine players on their Wednesday injury report.
The most notable name on the list was superstar wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who was a surprise addition to the Lions’ report with a wrist injury.
The fifth-year wideout was among seven players who did not participate, joining cornerback Terrion Arnold (shoulder), linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring), offensive tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), defensive back Kerby Joseph (knee), receiver Kalif Raymond (neck) and running back Sione Vaki (hamstring).
Defensive back Brian Branch was limited with an ankle injury, and defensive tackle Alim McNeill notched full participation despite a knee injury.
St. Brown’s injury status will be closely monitored leading up to Sunday’s Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

St. Brown is one of the most prolific wide receivers in the NFL so far this season. Through the Lions’ 4-1 start, the 25-year-old pass-catcher has reeled in 35 catches for 407 yards and a league-leading six touchdowns. He ranks fifth among all NFL players in receiving yards, trailing only Emeka Egbuka (445), Justin Jefferson (449), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (534) and Puka Nacua (588).

In Sunday’s 37-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, St. Brown caught eight passes from quarterback Jared Goff, accounting for a team-high 100 receiving yards. He played a full complement of snaps and did not exit the game early due to injury.
The Lions provided no further details after listing St. Brown as a non-participant in Wednesday’s practice session.
Week 6’s “Sunday Night Football” matchup against Kansas City will kickoff under the lights at Arrowhead Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET.
