Walmart has paused offering jobs to individuals who need H-1B visas after the administration of President Donald Trump announced a new $100,000 fee, Bloomberg reported.
As the largest private employer in the United Sates, Walmart is additionally the largest user of H-1B visas among major retail chains, according to Bloomberg. The company currently employs nearly 2,400 H-1B visa holders, according to government data cited by the publication.
