Numerous states in the Midwest are facing a frost advisory late Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday as temperatures could dip to freezing or just below.

What To Know
According to the NWS, the advisories affect portions of Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas.
In Iowa, southwest, central, south-central and west-central portions of the state are impacted by the plunging temperatures, including Franklin, Humboldt, Wright and Pocahontas Counties, the NWS says.
In Nebraska, east-central, central, south-central, northeast and southeast regions are included in the advisory.
In Missouri, Harrison, Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth Counties are affected.
In Kansas, north-central portions of the state face the advisory, the NWS says.
The advisories in Kansas and Nebraska begin at 10 p.m. Tuesday and go into effect for the other states in the early hours of Wednesday.
The NWS office in Hastings, Nebraska, said in the advisory, in part: “Breezy northwest winds will rapidly diminish during the evening hours allowing temperatures to plummet into the lower to mid 30s late this evening and through the overnight hours.”
