WWE Mystery Man Teasers Could Hint at Surprising Raw Debut
On Sunday, WWE sent fans into a frenzy with a series of mystery-man teaser videos, prompting many to guess who might be returning or debuting soon. Three of the cryptic clips arrived throughout the day, possibly suggesting they were building towards something for “Monday Night Raw.”
Each video focused solely on a pair of shoes with a bit of music and the sound of footsteps on the grounds. After the first video arrived, fans began to speculate that it might have referred to the “Ring General,” GUNTHER, or Chris Jericho, both of whom were swirling in rumors as John Cena’s final opponent.
While GUNTER might make sense, Jericho is currently under contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), suggesting that if it’s him, he won’t be showing up for a while.

However, when two more teaser videos arrived during the day, it seemed to suggest that these videos are referring to a faction, rather than just one superstar.
Fans may also have determined who was in the first video, and if that’s accurate, it could point to a specific crew’s main roster debut on Monday’s episode of Raw.

These videos could have a strong connection to The D’Angelo Family from the NXT roster. They consist of Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan.
D’Angelo won the NXT North American Championship once and the NXT Tag Team Championship twice with Lorenzo. This year, he appeared at No. 94 on the PWI top 500 singles wrestlers for the year.
There are three different mysterious teaser clips and three members of that faction, which seem to fit perfectly. That said, there could always be other swerves, including GUNTHER returning with two crew members, or someone completely different.
Each of the teasers checked in at under 20 seconds, and it’s clear WWE is building towards a significant debut or return.
The videos featured only sound and visuals, with no messages from WWE to offer any further hints. However, the fact that they arrived on a Sunday, with a big episode of Raw coming up, could indicate that this debut is happening very soon.
The “Monday Night Raw” episode for Oct. 27 will include a face-to-face confrontation involving CM Punk and Jey Uso as they move towards their “Saturday Night’s Main Event” clash for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
In addition, general manager Adam Pearce revealed that Roxanne Perez will battle WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, and Rusev will fight Penta in a No. 1 contender’s match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The episode will stream Monday night on Netflix from Anaheim, California.
