Becky Lynch Makes Bold Statement About WWE Career
Becky Lynch is ensuring that her reign as Women’s Intercontinental Champion is defined by controversy and confidence. “The Man” is not only holding onto her title by any means necessary but is also making sure all her challengers hear about it.
After her recent title defense against Maxxine Dupri on the October 20th episode of “Raw” ended in a disqualification, Lynch took to the social media platform Threads to mock every woman who has attempted to take her championship.
In a post dripping with arrogance, Lynch dished out demeaning nicknames for her recent opponents. Lyra Valkyria, Nikki Bella, Bayley, and Dupri were all targets of her verbal jabs.
“They’ve been trying to end my glorious run, looney Lyra, nasty Nikki, basic Bayley, moody Maxine but they can’t do it,” Lynch wrote. “It’s the greatest intercontinental championship reign of all time – lots of people are saying it.”
This boastful message came just days after her match with Maxxine Dupri, where Lynch intentionally used her championship belt as a weapon. She struck Dupri with the title, causing the referee to call for the disqualification.
While the tactic cost her the match, it ensured that the championship gold remained around her waist. Critics and her opponents may not approve of the methods, but Lynch is boldly proclaiming her reign as the “greatest ever” and claiming that fans share her sentiment.
Lynch, who won the title from Lyra Valkyria at “Money in the Bank” in June, is treating the championship as her personal property. Judging by her taunts online, she is far from finished playing mind games with the rest of the women’s division.

Her challengers will need to be prepared for more than just a physical confrontation; they are stepping into “The Man’s” world, where she’s proven she is not above clapping back with a cutting nickname or a timely belt shot to stay on top.
With her feud against Maxxine Dupri seemingly at two wins for Dupri (one by count-out, one by DQ), another match between the two, perhaps with a No Disqualification stipulation, seems likely for an upcoming event.

Meanwhile, Lynch’s other named rivals are also busy. Nikki Bella is now aligned with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, and Bayley is involved in a program on “SmackDown.”
Lynch is not currently scheduled for a match at tomorrow’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event,” but a title defense at “Survivor Series: WarGames” on November 29th is a strong possibility as her list of enemies continues to grow.
