A popular superstar received a significant upgrade during several recent events, including WWE’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event” and Monday’s Raw. Viewers saw fan-favorite Penta compete in matches at both events, with a near-win for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Saturday’s show.
He was unsuccessful in that triple threat match, as Dominik Mysterio found a way to cheat his opponents out of their potential win. A few nights later, Penta returned for WWE Raw in New Mexico, where he battled El Grande Americano and outwitted his opponents’ attempts to cheat for a victory.
Before both matches, Penta received a noticeable change, suggesting he could be headed towards bigger things on the main roster. A video surfaced after Monday’s Raw, showing his brand new entrance featuring pyrotechnics shooting up from the ring posts.

It brought a similar vibe to other WWE superstars who had ringpost pyro or flames, including Brock Lesnar’s previous entrance and Kane’s famous fiery entrance. Both were memorable, with Kane’s likely standing out more for fans.
The Raw commentary team marveled at Penta’s entrance, with Joe Tessitore calling it “the best entrance in the game right now,” and saying “it just gets better” with the pyro upgrade. Wade Barrett seemed to agree, as he audibly reacted during it.
A fan account shared a video clip of Penta’s new entrance, indicating, “THIS LOOKS AWESOME,” which prompted fans to also react in the comment section.
Many fans supported the new entrance, while others questioned why WWE wasn’t pushing him more than it currently is.
“Yoooo WWE made his entrance even more epic wtfff wow that amazing,” one fan commented on X.
Another X commenter said, “If they were gonna do this, why not make him champ…?”
“Give this man a title already. wtf else does he need?” another fan said in the comments.
“They are prepping him to have the ic title for sure. If that’s the case let cena lose to penta please . He can beat dom at survivor series , he can then lose to penta at snme and retire happy,” another fan suggested.
Penta is a former competitor in many promotions, including AAA, Major League Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling. He arrived to WWE this year and has quickly become a fan favorite.
He achieved the longest time in this year’s Royal Rumble match and has competed in several high-profile matches for the Intercontinental Championship and Money in the Bank.
However, he’s yet to claim any WWE championships, and many fans are hungry to see Penta finally hoist a championship belt during that incredible, newly upgraded entrance. He’s held championships in all of the other promotions mentioned, so it certainly seems his time is coming sooner, rather than later.
