Released WWE Star Returns to TNA Wrestling
A recently fired WWE star has made his return to TNA Wrestling. Fans watching “TNA Turning Point 2025” were surprised to see Desmond Xavier, formerly known as Wes Lee on “NXT.” Xavier teamed with Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Myron Reed of The Rascalz.
The faction faced The System in an eight-man tag team match. The Rascalz were granted the match after they tried convincing JDC of The System to rethink his decision to retire. Ultimately, The Rascalz were able to defeat The System in a heavily praised match.

Desmond Xavier is Back in TNA
Prior to signing with WWE back in 2020, Xavier was a key part of TNA Wrestling’s X division. He soon formed The Rascalz with Wentz and Miguel. In late 2020, reports surfaced claiming that Xavier and Wentz were on their way out of the company. Ultimately, they joined WWE and formed the MSK tag team.
Xavier and Wentz had success as two-time WWE NXT Tag Team Champions. Once Wentz was released, Xavier was given the role of a singles competitor. He even captured the WWE NXT North American Championship.
Xavier reunited with The Rascalz, but he turned on Wentz and Miguel to form his own faction. Xavier became the leader of The High Ryze, which featured Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont. In October, it was announced that Xavier was released from his WWE contract.
At this time, there’s no word on if Xavier has signed a new deal with TNA Wrestling or if his appearance at “Turning Point” was a one-off.
