WWE Planning Imminent Main Roster Shift: Report

WWE is reportedly set to switch things up with its roster. Bryan Alvarez of “Wrestling Observer Radio” brought word that the top professional wrestling company is set to move several notable “NXT” names to the “Monday Night Raw” and “Friday Night SmackDown” brands, possibly as soon as the next month. A good portion of the planned roster call-ups are said to be “deserving” and long overdue.

While the exact “NXT” names being discussed for a promotion were not revealed, major players such as Trick Williams and Oba Femi have long been rumored to make the jump. Seasoned veterans such as Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints have also been in the mix for many fans.

NXT Stars to Watch

Another interesting talent who fans have been pushing to be elevated to the main roster is Ethan Page. Reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has vouched for Page to join her as a member of the “Friday Night SmackDown” brand. Page and Green are the current AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions.

Je’Von Evans has been looked at by many within the industry as a future breakout star in WWE. In fact, some insiders believe the 21-year-old should be elevated to the main roster now. Some are skeptical of Evans becoming a permanent part of the main roster until he wins the NXT Championship.

Another young star who some believe is main roster material happens to be a reigning champion. WWE Evolve titleholder Kendal Grey has garnered attention due to how quickly she has grasped the wrestling business. At 24 years old, Grey continues getting better in the ring, and it’s to the point where some fans feel she’s already outshining members of the “Raw” and “SmackDown” shows.
