TikTok Star Tucker Genal Dead at 31: What We Know
Tributes have been paid to TikTok star Tucker Genal, who has died at the age of 31.
Genal, who rose to fame on the app along with his family members as they shared skits and updates from their daily lives, died at home on December 11.
His death has been ruled a suicide, according to the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner.
The Context
The influencer and TikTok star was just 31 years old, with his family left shattered by his death.
Genal was well-known on TikTok, boasting more than 2.5 million followers, and an additional 342,000 on Instagram. He regularly shared videos of himself with his brothers and friends, taking part in viral challenges and making entertaining skits.
His brothers, Carson Genal and Connor Genal, also have large online followings, with Genal making regular appearances on their channels, too.
They also had a shared YouTube and TikTok account @hustlehousela, where the brothers were often joined by friends for new skits.

What We Know
Genal died by suicide on December 11, 2025, the LA Medical Examiner’s office confirmed. He died at his home in Los Angeles.
His family confirmed the news, with his brothers and close friend Korie Mckennedy paying tribute in a joint Instagram post on December 15.
Featuring a series of photos of Genal, his brother Carson wrote: “I don’t even know where to begin. You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero.
“I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for. We love you and will miss you eternally Tucker.”
The statement finished by asking for privacy, as well as sharing that they are “deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown to our family.”

Genal had millions of fans, and condolences have been flooding in for the young star and his family.
One commenter on Instagram wrote: “My Instagram is full of your guys’ videos, I don’t know how I’ll be able to watch them again…. my heart goes out to you and your family during this tough time.”
“I’m so sorry. Sending all the love in the world,” another said, as one shared: “So sorry for your loss. Prayers to you & your family, Tucker was such a great person, glad we got to share great memories together.”
On TikTok, under Genal’s final video posted on December 11, where he shared a photo from each month of the year so far, his followers also shared their grief.
“This can’t be true, my stomach is in knots,” one said, as another admitted the news “hit me so hard.”
And another said: “You were always the kindest person to me. I can’t believe this. Please check on your friends. All love to him, his family, and all the people who loved him.”
