Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Already Linked to 2 Potential Trade Suitors

The Baltimore Ravens have not had nearly the kind of season that was expected from them, with a lot of that having to do with the consistent injury issues Lamar Jackson has dealt with.

Jackson has played in 12 of the team’s 15 games so far this season, but the injuries have played a role. He simply has not looked like his normal self throughout the 2025 campaign.

Due to the rough all-around season, trade rumblings have begun to come up regarding the superstar quarterback. It would be a shock to see the Ravens move on from Jackson, but the idea cannot be counted out and is starting to gain some steam.

Should Baltimore consider listening to offers for Jackson, there would likely be a large list of teams with interest in acquiring him.

With that being said, two potential trade suitors have already been brought up.

Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun has name-dropped two potential trade destinations for Jackson. He believes that the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders are teams to watch.

“The Ravens should look at possible trades, which could net them two or three first-round picks,” Preston wrote. “Jackson would love to play in Miami, where quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is no longer the starter, or possibly Las Vegas, where (Tom) Brady, a partial owner of the Raiders, has shown a fondness for him. Baltimore should also draft a young quarterback in the early rounds.”

Landing with either of those teams would be a franchise-altering move for them. Both the Dolphins and Raiders have struggled in recent years. Jackson could completely turn the future around for them.

This season in the 12 games he has played, Jackson has completed 63.7 percent of his pass attempts for 2,311 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions, while also running for 340 yards and two scores.

In 2024, Jackson put together an MVP-caliber performance. He lost out on the award to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, but threw for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. Jackson completed 66.7 percent of his passes and ran for 915 yards and four touchdowns.

Expect to continue hearing rumors surround the Ravens and Jackson heading into the offseason. It’s still not likely that Baltimore will actually move him, but the noise is growing louder.
