Starbucks Announces New Menu Update

Starbucks has announced its 2026 winter menu, which will see the launch of brand-new drinks and treats as well as the return of some old “seasonal favorites.”

The new winter menu highlights include:

New Caramel Protein Drinks
Following the success of the Vanilla Protein Latte—which comes with 27 grams of protein per grande cup—Starbucks is launching two new protein-inspired hot drinks—The Caramel Protein Matcha and the Caramel Protein Latte, which are designed to add a boost of protein for matcha and caramel latte lovers.

Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup
For those who want a hit of sugar without the calories, Starbucks is offering a sugar-free caramel-flavored syrup, which can be added to drinks, all-year-round.

“Fan Favorite” Pistachio Drinks Return
Winter fan-favorites—the Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew—are also returning for winter. Plus, Starbucks is adding a Pistachio Cortado—a condensed espresso-and-milk drink—to its pistachio-flavored collection.

New Dubai-Inspired Chocolate Creations
Inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate, two iced beverages—the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha and Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha—will make their debut onto the new menu in January.

New Bites and Sweets
The breakfast menu will expand with Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites, which will only be available for a limited time, and a revamped Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich, which is on the year-round menu, will include two new elements: Cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and “more flavorful” sharper cheddar.

The Valentine Cake Pop—a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, which is dipped in red chocolate and shaped like a heart—will return as a seasonal festive treat.

These new additions and returning classics come after Starbucks announced the return of two other seasonal favorites—the Eggnog Latte, which was “the first-ever holiday espresso beverage” launched by Starbucks, and the Chestnut Praline Latte—earlier in December

“This winter brings the debut of the new Caramel Protein Matcha and Caramel Protein Latte. Customers can also choose a new sugar-free caramel syrup, which will join Starbucks’ lineup of flavors available all year long,” Starbucks said in its official press release.

The Starbucks 2026 winter menu will arrive in U.S. stores on Tuesday, January 6.
