7 Teams Reportedly Contacted John Harbaugh Following Ravens Firing
John Harbaugh won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens and had only one year in which he didn’t at least reach eight wins with the franchise during his 18 years as head coach, yet he was still fired on Tuesday.
For the first time in almost two decades, Harbaugh has no job.
Well, if senior NFL insider Adam Schefter is to be believed, he won’t be without one for long.
Schefter relayed information from Harbaugh’s agent, Bryan Harlan, that in less than an hour after the news broke that he was no longer a head coach of the Ravens, seven NFL teams contacted him for Harbaugh’s services.

While it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out a majority of the teams that would have checked in, such as the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and Cleveland Browns, who are all without head coaches after the season.
But who could be the seventh?
If true, it would have to mean a team with a head coach already checked in to see Harbaugh’s status, and I don’t think they’d be asking if he could be a coordinator.
It is a whole new world for Harbaugh, who has been the consistent face of the Ravens over the past two decades, leading them to Super Bowl glory in 2012 by defeating his younger brother, Jim, and the San Francisco 49ers.
While Baltimore searches for its future leader, Harbaugh has become the belle of the ball for struggling franchises across the NFL, who would be overjoyed to win only eight games next season.
