NFL Analyst Calls Out Josh Allen After Painful Bills Loss
Timing is everything in the NFL Playoffs. Every mistake is costly. Turnovers in critical moments, clock management, it all makes a major difference and can put a season at risk.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills had an opportunity to punch their ticket to the AFC Championship. Although they faced the first-seeded Denver Broncos on the road, Allen and the Bills carry plenty of postseason experience. If you asked many fans, this was the year that Allen would get his team to the final stage.
Unfortunately, his final stage of the 2025 season ended with tears falling at the podium in Denver, Colorado.

Who’s to Blame?
The NFL player-turned-analyst Emmanuel Acho didn’t hold back on Josh Allen.
“Josh Allen must be blamed for the Bills loss,” Acho wrote on X.
“It’s not just about the 4 turnovers, but when they occurred. Right before half, right after half, in overtime. You can’t win a football game with 4 turnovers. There’s a reason he was crying post-game.”
The overtime finish didn’t satisfy many tuned in due to the fact that three plays were considered controversial. It started with Allen’s interception when he took a deep shot down the field.
The decision was risky, and he nearly executed, but further review confirmed to the officials that Allen tossed his second interception of the night.

The Broncos took possession, drove down the field (with a little help from two pass interference calls), and managed to kick a field goal to close the game out with a 33-30 victory.
In total, Allen tossed two interceptions and fumbled three times, with two of them resulting in a loss of possession. Buffalo took just one turnover during the game. They gave away four, with Allen having handprints on all of them.
Allen Speaks on the Loss
“I let my teammates down tonight,” a teary-eyed Allen said after the game.
“Just missed opportunities throughout the game. It’s been a long season. I hate how it ended, and it’s gonna stick with me for a long time. You can’t win with five turnovers. I fumbled twice, threw two picks. You shoot yourself in the foot like that, you don’t deserve to win football games.”
A 12-5 season with a playoff win against the Jacksonville Jaguars is what the Bills finish with this season. Although the season ends in heartbreak fashion, Allen and the Bills should be set up to put up another strong fight in 2026.
