The Timberwolves watched the visiting Chicago Bulls close the game on a 9-0 run on Thursday night as they lost their fourth in a row, falling 120-115. Julius Randle went for 30 points and six assists for Minnesota, while Anthony Edwards, saddled with foul trouble, and Naz Reid scored 20 points apiece. Reid added three steals while Rudy Gobert finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Golden State fell to 0-2 since Jimmy Butler’s season-ending knee injury and lost Jonathan Kuminga to knee and ankle injuries in its 123-115 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. Stephen Curry scored 38 points for the Warriors while becoming the first player in NBA history to attempt 10,000 3-point shots in his career. De’Anthony Melton added 22 points off the bench, Moses Moody pumped in 12 points, and Brandin Podziemski handed out 10 assists.
Minnesota won the first meeting between the teams 127-120 in San Francisco on Dec. 12. Edwards averages 29.6 points for the T-Wolves, with Randle posting 22.6 points and 5.4 assists per game, and Gobert notching 11.0 points and 11.3 rebounds a night. Curry tops the Warriors with an average of 27.4 points, while Podziemski scores 12.2 points per game and Draymond Green books 5.8 boards and 5.2 assists per outing.
This is a great NBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
