Joe Burrow Gets Pants Pulled Down in Flag Football Event Incident
Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow thought he was going to go out into the sunny Los Angeles weather and have some fun at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Burrow’s lone trip to the Super Bowl was in Los Angeles, where he lost a close game to the hometown Rams. But on Saturday, he expected to get some fresh air, throw some bombs, and have himself a time.
Instead, he contributed to two viral moments he would like back.
First, in one of the first important throws of the game, Burrow threw a pick-six that opened the floodgates for a Team USA Flag Football blowout of Burrow’s squad, comprised of NFL stars.
Heading into the event, NFL players were confident that they would have spots open come the Summer Olympic Games in 2028 in L.A., where flag football is an official sport, but that confidence might be gone after today’s event.
Team USA Flag Football absolutely shredded every NFL star that tried to defend them, scoring on every offensive position outside of one — where they kneeled following a blowout with the game already over.

While that would have been bad enough, Burrow tried to turn things around in the finals of the competition, with his team down by two scores and time running out. Burrow, mirroring what the national team does by going from QB to receiver, caught the ball and ran for the endzone.
While Burrow made a nice move to juke one defender and get to the goal line, his flag and his pants didn’t make it to the promised land.
Burrow lunged for a touchdown but was stopped right before scoring, along with his shorts that were dragged down from behind.
It was a comical day for Burrow, who also had an incident where he pleaded to the refs for a penalty flag that never came.
There might be a better chance Burrow returns to Los Angeles next year to compete in his second Super Bowl than making the Olympics team in 2028 for flag football following Saturday’s madness.
