Logan Paul Trolls Tom Brady, Jalen Hurts After Flag Football Game

Logan Paul didn’t hold back, making some bold comments about his recent NFL opponents from Tom Brady’s flag football event in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The game, known as the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, featured a round-robin tournament of three unique teams. One team featured the actual United States men’s national flag football team, who certainly came to play, while the other two teams were captained by NFL stars who drafted other football players and athletes for their rosters.

In the weeks leading up to the event, a lot of trash-talking emerged between Paul and Brady, mostly seeming like a way to help publicize the event. However, the two were on opposing sides in one of Saturday’s games, and got chippy on one play with Paul going at the NFL legend after he threw the football at his torso.

Paul also showed impressive abilities in the game, including a lightning-quick defensive play where he ran back and “sacked” quarterback Jalen Hurts. That simply involved touching Hurts or grabbing his flag to stop the play.

Logan Paul and Tom Brady have an on-field exchange at Fanatics Flag Football Classic

Both Paul and Brady’s teams ended up looking worse than the U.S. men’s national team, which put on a dominant flag football display at BMO Stadium. After Paul and Brady’s teams clashed in the event, they seemingly made up by greeting each other on the field for a postgame exchange.

Paul then took to his X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday evening to throw shade at Brady, Hurts, and his critics, with a video disguised as an apology.

At the start, he apologized to the men’s national team for taking Darrell Doucette’s sunglasses off his face and throwing them down, indicating he got caught up in the moment after Doucette trash-talked him.

However, Paul’s apologies to Hurts and Brady didn’t seem as genuine. Speaking on the Philadelphia Eagles’ Hurts, he apologized for sacking him and deflecting one of his passes, causing it to be intercepted by a teammate.

“If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing, so I am sorry,” he said to Hurts.

“And of course, I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life. I understand you’re older, it’s not like you could go anywhere, and you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me, and I want you to know that I forgive you for that because that’s what real men do,” Paul said.

“Lastly, I want to apologize to everyone who said that I was not a good athlete, because you all look stupid as hell right now. Thank you,” he concluded his video with.

According to the NFL, Team USA won the Flag Football Classic, defeating both teams with commanding performances on offense each time down the field. Paul’s team, the Wildcats, eliminated Brady and Hurts’s team, the Founders, before losing to Team USA.

Paul is best known as a social media influencer, but more recently for his time spent as a professional wrestler with WWE. So far, he’s only worked in a “heel” capacity, which is typically one of the individuals who irritates fans and challenges the heroes of WWE.

Most likely, he’ll be a participant in April’s WrestleMania 42. It’s unclear if he and Tom Brady will have any additional interactions related to WWE or flag football, but they’ve certainly been entertaining to watch.
