The Suns have lost four of their last five games, but they’re coming off a 120-98 win over the Raptors on Sunday night, while the Nuggets are looking to stay hot after winning three of their last four, including a 128-112 beatdown of the Trail Blazers on Sunday night.

That level of efficiency, alongside significant volume (at least 10 FGA in seven of his last eight games) makes for a strong statistical case for a big night. It also helps Green’s chances that the absence of Watson removes one of Denver’s top perimeter defenders.
In what should be a high-scoring game, based on the total of 232.5, Green is a solid play to cash this prop, particularly at nearly even-money.

The Nuggets will be without guard Peyton Watson, who recently returned from a hamstring injury but is being held out of tonight’s game, which is the first of a back-to-back for Denver. Phoenix is missing Dillon Brooks, and it lists forward Royce O’Neale and guard Grayson Allen as questionable.
With Aaron Gordon back in the lineup, the Nuggets have looked like Western Conference contenders in recent weeks. Denver is 5-2 in its last seven games, with wins over the Rockets and Spurs, and one of its losses came in overtime on the road against the red-hot Lakers.
Performances like the Nuggets’ listless 125-118 loss to Memphis last Wednesday make it a bit risky to take the favorites on the spread, but I’ll go with Jokic and Co. to win by just enough of a margin to cover in this one. Remember, Phoenix has not only lost five of its last six games, but three of those losses came by at least seven points.
