WWE’s Stephanie Vaquer Breaks Silence on Disrespectful Fan Encounter
Stephanie Vaquer has spoken out after a fan behaved inappropriately toward her outside Madison Square Garden following the March 30 episode of Raw.
The Women’s World Champion addressed the situation on Twitter after a video surfaced showing her declining an autograph request while leaving the arena on what was her birthday. Rather than accepting her refusal, the fan followed her and made hurtful comments while continuing to film. Vaquer responded directly.
“I always stop and I’m very kind to my fans. Yesterday was my birthday and I was honestly having a really bad day. Even so, I politely asked for understanding, and many people respected that. But you followed me for a long time, saying hurtful things and making me feel uncomfortable. I told you no multiple times, and you kept following me and recording. And now you’re posting this on social media. It’s sad to see people like you call themselves fans.”

The fan deleted both the video and his tweet after Vaquer’s response gained traction online.
The incident was not the only example of concerning fan behavior at Raw on Monday night. Liv Morgan was grabbed by the arm by a fan as she made her way to the ring at MSG. Morgan pulled away quickly and continued in character without breaking stride, though the physical contact from the crowd was clearly inappropriate.
Vaquer is heading into the final stretch of her WrestleMania 42 preparations, where she will defend the Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan on April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Her response to the fan situation reflects a broader conversation in the wrestling world about the boundaries between performers and the public, particularly in settings outside of the arena itself.
