Iran War Live: Trump To Address Nation, Strikes Continue

President Donald Trump has given a timeline to end the war in Iran as he suggested that Tehran was keen to negotiate and end to the conflict.

The U.S. president told reporters at the Oval Office on Tuesday that the U.S dominated Iranian skies, had destroyed Iran’s Navy and that Tehran was “begging to make a deal” and that he envisaged the war would end in “two to three weeks”.

Trump also told reporters that keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, which Iran has effectively closed, will be the responsibility of countries that rely on it, saying “that’s not for us.”

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary said that Trump will give an address to the U.S. on Wednesday evening which will “provide an important update on Iran”.
