Theo Von Responds to Backlash Over Joe Rogan Appearance
Theo Von has responded to backlash following his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
“It was hard for me to be angry and talk at the same time,” he wrote in a post on X.
Von, a podcaster whose viral interviews and political guests have propelled him to prominence in the online “manosphere,” spoke at length about politics and current events, remarking at one point that “Satan is amongst us.”
During the appearance on the podcast, which has long held the mantel of one of the most popular in America, Rogan critiqued his remarks, telling Von he had “lost his marbles.”

Specific comments made by Von about the military prompted criticism online. He said, “I’m sick of rich people not putting their f****** kids over in these wars. Put your f****** honkey a** kids up there. Let them go shed some f****** blood.”
He addressed the backlash in a post on X, writing, “I meant the elites and politicians that are leading us into these wars might make different choices if it was their children,” adding, “I am thankful for to our troops who serve and are far braver than me. And also wtf do i know.
In a separate post on X, he wrote, “I was angry and kind of scared. and i wouldn’t even have the freedom of speech if all types of people braver than me hadn’t sacrificed for it.”
This is a developing story. More to follow.
