Weather Forecast for The Masters Catches Attention Ahead of Opening Round
There isn’t a better time of year in the world of golf then this week when the best players compete for a green jacket at Augusta National Golf Club in The Masters Tournament.
Flowers are blooming this time of year in Georgia, but the weather for this specific tournament always seems up in the air from a day-to-day basis and that plays a massive role in how the course plays, which is already extremely challenging.
Well after Monday’s practice round was pretty much perfect, the rest of the week’s forecast has come into light and while things can change rapidly, it’s looking like the players and fans in attendance are in store for some phenomenal weather.
It’s expected to hover around 75-plus degrees from tomorrow until Sunday, outside of Wednesday, which is expected to be around 69 degrees.
Yet, it’s expected to be mostly sunny throughout and the final two days on Saturday and Sunday being on the hotter side around 80-plus degrees with minimal wind and only a 5% chance of rain in each of the next six days with the first round beginning Thursday.

“Course will be fast and firm! Winning score maybe around -10,” one fan said.
Another added, “Anyway, the weather looks nice this week, which is a relief lol.”
“Part of me is happy, part of me wants carnage,” a third fan wrote.
“Yep, looks good at the moment, and don’t see much change at this time. Perhaps a bit cool Thursday, which will be the most windy day,” another shared.
One more commented, “Clear skies and a dry Augusta — should be fun.”

With near-perfect weather expected, players will face exceptionally fast greens, which could create challenges given how the course plays.
Key storylines heading into the first round include Rory McIlroy, who is looking to defend his title; Scottie Scheffler, aiming for his third green jacket; and Bryson DeChambeau, along with several others, seeking their first Masters victory.
