What To Know
On Wednesday, Silvestri Sweets Inc. voluntarily recalled Choceur Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark because of a potential undeclared wheat allergen and Choceur Cookie Butter Holiday Bark because of a potential undeclared pecan allergen.
Aldi distributed these products as part of its Christmas seasonal offerings in multiple states.
Both products were available in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
Customers who possess these items are urged to dispose of them immediately, as consumption could result in allergic reactions in those with relevant sensitivities.
The recall follows a broader string of product safety alerts at Aldi this year.
Recent Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notices have classified some recalls—such as the spring roll recall across 22 states over undeclared shrimp—as Class I. This is the highest risk category and means that consuming the product could cause serious health consequences.

- Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls were recalled on October 9 because of an undeclared shrimp allergen, affecting Aldi stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
- Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers were recalled on October 9 because of hot contents escaping and posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers, affecting Aldi stores nationwide.
- Ambiano Cotton Candy Makers were recalled on September 18 because of a fire hazard; they were sold for $15 at Aldi retail stores nationwide between August and September 2024.
