Alvin Bragg Wants Trump’s Gag Order Expanded Amid ‘Dangerous’ Attacks

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has called for Donald Trump’s gag order in his criminal “hush money” trial to be expanded, citing the former president’s continued social media attacks against Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter.

Leading off the filing, Bragg states, “Defendant’s dangerous, violent, and reprehensible rhetoric fundamentally threatens the integrity of these proceedings and is intended to intimidate witnesses and trial participants alike — including this Court.”

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
