Bengals Star WR Used Strong Language to Describe Upcoming Steelers Game
The Cincinnati Bengals have a quick turnaround this week to prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on “Thursday Night Football” for Week 7. The Bengals enter the contest against the first-place team in the AFC North on a four-game losing streak.

Cincinnati’s streak started in Week 3 after Joe Burrow had to have toe surgery that put him on injured reserve. The Bengals played noticeably better with Joe Flacco under center against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday than what Jake Browning had been able to provide in the previous three weeks.

Still, Cincinnati dropped to 2-4 after a 27-18 loss to the Packers in front of 78,277 fans at Lambeau Field.
Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase knows how important Thursday night’s game is for the team. A 2-5 start to the season would hurt Cincinnati’s slim chances of earning a Wild Card spot.
Per Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, the star receiver used strong language to indicate how things stand between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati before Thursday night’s contest.
“Just the rankings we got going on right now,” Chase said. “We know the Steelers are going to try to come in and raw dog us and kill us. But we going to be ready for that challenge and we going to be waiting for it.”
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers are rolling in a division that had three teams playing without their Week 1 starting quarterback on Sunday. Pittsburgh made quick work of the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 with a 23-6 win to improve to 4-1.
Chase recorded 10 receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown against the Packers. Cincinnati will need to lean on him to have a big game on Thursday night if the team hopes to upset Pittsburgh and improve to 3-4.
