Bills DC Has Bold Message for All-Pro LB Matt Milano
The Buffalo Bills are always a team to watch in the NFL, as their defense and offense are stacked with playmakers that make them a contender every season. Granted, they continue to not be able to solve the Kansas City Chiefs puzzle, but they remain a dangerous team.

Regarding the defense, the Bills have one of the best linebackers in the league, All-Pro LB Matt Milano. The issue is Milano has suffered season-ending injuries in back-to-back seasons, and has not played a full season for the majority of his career.
Current Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich was asked about how Milano is doing in training camp, and he had a bold message for the All-Pro defender.
“Matt’s great. Stay healthy. That’s it.”
Babich might have taken a subtle shot at Milano, but it’s probably not smart to skate around the issue that everyone knows. He has durability issues, especially regarding the last two seasons.

When Milano is healthy, he is one of the most dangerous linebackers in the league.
The 2022 season saw Milano land 99 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and three interceptions. Milano’s play in 2022 led to his lone Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections.
If he can remain healthy in 2025, the Bills will have another dangerous defense to deal with the high-flying offenses that belong to their biggest rivals: the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
The race for the AFC always consists of the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens, but only the Chiefs have been successful in capturing the AFC crown thus far.
Buffalo should return to the playoffs, but it will be up to both sides of the ball playing with perfection to get past the upper-echelon teams in the AFC.
Excitement is certainly high considering Josh Allen landed his first MVP, and the core of the team remains mostly intact from the 2024 season. Now, it will be up to head coach Sean McDermott and company to guide the team to the big show.
Keeping Milano healthy will be paramount, as his motor will give the defense another element to their stellar pass rush.
The Bills also signed former Los Angeles Chargers star pass rusher Joey Bosa. With Bosa in the building, the defense could be very scary.
Bosa is also injury-prone, but should he and Milano make it through the entire season, the defense will be tough to deal with.
