Bills Receive Great News Before Facing Browns, Shedeur Sanders
The Buffalo Bills are preparing for a pivotal matchup against Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, and they just received some great news in the lead up to the clash.
Bills cornerback Christian Benford, who missed the team’s Week 15 victory over the New England Patriots with a toe injury, is no longer on Buffalo’s injury report and will play against the Browns this weekend, via Ian Rapoport of NFL media.

Benford has been the Bills’ best cornerback for quite some time and has logged 39 tackles, a couple of sacks, a pair of interceptions (including a pick-six) and two fumble recoveries this season.
The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Villanova, was originally selected by Buffalo in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and became a full-time starter for the Bills as soon as his sophomore campaign.
Since then, Benford has become a consistently productive member of Buffalo’s secondary, and while he has never made a Pro Bowl, he has established himself as one of the more underrate defensive backs in football.

The Bills’ defense has been very much up and down this year, so having Benford back in the fold will certainly against Sanders and Cleveland’s passing attack.
Buffalo defeated the Patriots on the road last week, improving to 10-4 and moving to within one game of New England for first place in the AFC East.
The Bills have won five straight division titles, but they have yet to get over the hump in the playoffs, failing to notch one Super Bowl appearance with Josh Allen under center in spite of making six straight trips to the postseason.

Buffalo stands a great chance to draw even with the Pats this weekend, as the Patriots will be facing a desperate Baltimore Ravens team on the road.
After facing the Browns, the Bills will battle the Philadelphia Eagles and then the New York Jets to close out the regular season.
