Per the telecast, Buccaneers’ star Mike Evans has been ruled out with a concussion and shoulder injury.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers star receiver Mike Evans returned to action in Week 7 after missing the last three games due to a hamstring injury. Now, he is out again with a new injury.
Evans came down hard in the second quarter of the Detroit Lions game, and he appeared to be in immediate pain. Training staff ran out to see what occurred, and he had to rely on the staff to carry him off the field.
There are no details on what occurred with Evans, but he looked to be in considerable pain. This is a horrible news for the Buccaneers, as the longtime veteran star had just returned to the field.

A few moments after Evans had to be helped off the field, he was shown being helped onto a cart. It makes sense that he had to be carted off the field, as it was reported that he suffered a concussion and a shoulder injury.
This is terrible news for Evans consdiering he returned to action, and because both injuries looked significant enough that it may point to him not being able to suit up again for multiple weeks.
The Buccaneers will place Evans in concussion protocol, and also he may need an MRI to determine the extent of the damage on his shoulder. Things looked quite dire when they happened, and the hope for Tampa Bay is the star receiver may still be able to return to the lineup at some point this season.
Evans had 140 yards and one touchdown heading into Week 7 against the Lions. In the showdown with Detroit, he was targeted four times, and did not complete a catch.
Losing Evans is a brutal hit to an offense that is already missing Chris Godwin. The silver lining is the Buccaneers got back Emeka Egbuka, who had suffered his own hamstring injury.
The issue is the Lions defense has been all over the Buccaneers, stopping their attempts on offense at every turn. At the time of this writing, the score is 14-0.
