A video of a mother cat’s show of trust for a woman has delighted viewers on TikTok.

The cat was captured crossing a front yard with a kitten gently clutched in her mouth. As she was seen to scurry past a parked car and approach the house, an overlaid text explained: “Mama cat brings baby kittens to my wife.” What followed tugged at the heartstrings of thousands of viewers online after being shared to the platform by @unclebill50 on April 7. The video has drawn more than 770,000 views and racked up over 116,000 likes to date.

Viewers were able to see the short clip cut to a candid moment indoors, where the “mama cat,” after catching up with the creator’s wife, is shown calmly settled on a couch next to her. Nestled beside the feline are her tiny newborn kittens.
