Chiefs Announce Historic Patrick Mahomes News During Lions Game
There is nobody who would not agree that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one-of-one. The franchise signal caller exploded when he arrived in the NFL, helping propel the team to win three Super Bowl titles in the last seven seasons.

Mahomes is one of the most clutch players in the NFL, and he always finds ways to help the Chiefs win. On top of being an MVP talent, he continues to set records in his career.
With his first touchdown pass against the Lions, Mahomes has achieved a historic NFL feat. He is the fastest player to clear 300 combined touchdowns.
Mahomes has achieved this NFL record in 139 games, surpassing Miami Dolphins legend Dan Marino, who held the record at 147 games. Also on this list are Aaron Rodgers (151 games), Peyton Manning (160 games), and Drew Brees (162 games).

Mahomes continues to etch his name in history, and he is among the NFL’s greats.
Oddly enough, the Chiefs are off to a rocky start to the 2025 season. After punching their ticket to the Super Bowl in 2024 and losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team has struggled.
The Chiefs are currently 2-3 on the season, and are losing ground on the first-place Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos in the AFC West. After two straight losses to start the season, Kansas City started to look like its championship selves, taking down the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens in Weeks 3 and 4.
Kansas City then lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5, leading to their record being under .500. Though it is uncharacteristic of this team to be questioned, Mahomes and company often find ways to battle through adversity.
If Mahomes continues to play mistake-free football, the Chiefs will likely return to challenge the rest of the AFC in the playoffs.
