Senate Minority Leader Democrat Chuck Schumer was taken to the hospital on Wednesday to be treated for dehydration, his office said in a statement.
The statement from Schumer’s office, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Fox News senior congressional correspondent Chad Pergram, read: “Leader Schumer was at the Senate gym this morning and got lightheaded.
