Cleaner Calls 3 Times Then Sends Photo, Woman Can’t Believe What She Sees
A pet parent who received concerned calls and a text from the cleaning lady couldn’t believe what unfolded at her house.
TikTok user @amiieeee explained in last week’s video that she received three calls from the frantic cleaning lady who explained she accidentally let the cat outside during the “coldest week.” She followed up the calls with a picture of the cat. He, luckily, didn’t go far.
The picture showed the orange cat sitting on a chair outside on the front porch. Annoyed, he glared at the cleaning lady as if she interrupted his sunbathing and “me time.” The cleaning lady tried getting him to come back inside. She even pulled out the treat bag and shook it, hoping he would run toward it, but nothing.
The owner wrote in the caption that she “didn’t blame him.” He was living the life, finally getting a taste of the outdoors.
Newsweek reached out to @amiieeee via TikTok for additional comment.

The TikTok video amassed over 342,100 views and 83,600 likes as of Monday.
“He really said, You’re not my mom you can’t tell me what to do,'” commented a viewer.
A second person pointed out: “He looks annoyed that his sunbathing was interrupted.”
Others applauded the cleaning lady’s efforts to get the cat back inside: “The fact she got the treat bag out and shook it. 10/10 cleaner.”
Getting Cats Inside
While this incident with the cleaning lady left people in stitches, a cat’s refusal to come inside is a headache owners often deal with. Once an indoor cat gets a taste of the outside world, it’s nearly impossible to keep them in. So what is one to do if the cat refuses to come inside? An article from WikiHow offered possible solutions that might lure your feline back.
Owners could train their cats to come to them on cue. While dogs enjoy positive praises during training, cats have a shorter attention span and will likely need more motivation. Food is an excellent motivator for cats. Try shaking the box of cat treats to get your cat’s attention. When they trot over to you, reward them with the treat.
An obvious way to get your cat to come to you is by calling their name. However, frustration can build in as you call and get no response. A cat might not come running to you because they are out of earshot or they simply are not ready to return. Instead of getting annoyed, try again a few minutes later and remember, never vent your frustration to your cats.
