Cody Rhodes Accuses WWE Star Of Committing Locker Room ‘Crime’
On the eve of his massive SummerSlam main event, Cody Rhodes has given fans a fun peek behind the curtain of the WWE locker room. While appearing on the popular interview show Hot Ones to promote the event, “The American Nightmare” playfully called out rising star Bron Breakker for committing a hilarious locker room “crime.”
During the interview, Rhodes was asked about the unwritten rules of professional wrestling. He explained one of the biggest pet peeves for a top superstar.
A Look Behind The Curtain
Cody Rhodes detailed the pre-show ritual that top stars like himself, John Cena, and CM Punk go through every night. He described having to sign hundreds of 8×10 promotional photos in a limited amount of time before the arena doors open.
“Once you’re in stride, a misdemeanor is to come up and try to talk or shake that person’s hand, once they’re in stride,” Rhodes explained. He then named one superstar who is a repeat offender.
“That’s A Crime”
Rhodes went on to name Bron Breakker as the talent who is always guilty of committing this specific misdemeanor. He described Breakker’s overly physical and friendly nature.

“And we’ve got a newbie who’s gonna be a huge star and that’s Bron Breakker, one of the famous Steiner family,” Rhodes said. “Dude comes up, headlocks you, puts you in a hug, real touchy. That’s a no. That’s a crime. I’m in the midst of this. That’s a crime.”
A Generational Powerhouse
Bron Breakker is a second-generation superstar, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner. The Steiner Brothers were legendary for their incredible intensity and legitimate toughness. Breakker has carried on that family tradition with his explosive, high-impact style in the ring.

Cody’s lighthearted comments paint a picture of a young, energetic powerhouse whose intensity can’t be contained, even in a backstage setting. While a “crime” in the wrestling world, it’s clear Rhodes sees Breakker as a “huge star” in the making.
All Business This Weekend
While the story about Breakker is a fun one, Cody Rhodes’ focus is now squarely on the business at hand. This weekend at the two-night SummerSlam premium live event, “The American Nightmare” is scheduled to main event Night Two. He will challenge the vicious heel, John Cena, for the Undisputed WWE Championship in what is expected to be a brutal Street Fight.
