Cody Rhodes Reacts to Bad Bunny WWE Rumors
WWE is looking towards big things for the upcoming WrestleMania 42 event, including potential superstar returns for major matches.
One of those returns could be the recent Grammy winner and Super Bowl LX halftime show performer Bad Bunny. Fans have seen the Puerto Rican superstar in several entertaining matches, the last of which was an epic San Juan Street Fight with Damian Priest at WWE Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico.
Bad Bunny initially debuted in a tag team match with Priest at WrestleMania 37, where they defeated The Miz and Jon Morrison. He’d also go on to compete in the 2022 Royal Rumble, eliminating two competitors and lasting to the final five before Brock Lesnar eliminated him.

Now there is talk of Bad Bunny making his return to the ring, following his recent musical success and Super Bowl spotlight. While Cody Rhodes was recently on his way to an appearance, TMZ caught up with him for some quick comments about Bad Bunny.
He indicated that he thought he “killed it” at his halftime performance at the Super Bowl. TMZ asked Cody for his thoughts about Bad Bunny potentially returning.
“I hope we get him back; he did a wonderful job, but he’s on top of the world right now,” Cody said, reiterating how much he enjoyed his recent halftime show.
Asked who he would want to see Bad Bunny compete against at WrestleMania, Rhodes thought for a moment before suggesting Logan Paul.
Fans may have other superstars in mind that they’d prefer to see clash with Bad Bunny, such as WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. Still, Logan Paul makes a lot of sense for an entertaining battle on the grandest stage of them all.
It would set up an epic confrontation between two vastly popular figures who have joined WWE. While Bunny has only made brief appearances, they’ve all been noteworthy and showed impressive abilities in the ring as a newcomer.
It’s now been several years since Bad Bunny last appeared in the wrestling ring, and WWE fans would likely welcome him back in his attempt to add another win to his record.
With WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cody Rhodes is trying to earn a championship match. He will attempt to win the upcoming men’s Elimination Chamber match at the Feb. 28 event of the same name, which would give him a match against Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
