College Football Playoff Schedule: Dates, Times for Every First-Round Matchup
After weeks of debating about whether the Miami Hurricanes or Notre Dame Fighting Irish would be included in the 12-team College Football Playoff field, fans finally got their answer.
Though Notre Dame had a legit case to be included in the CFP, Miami’s head-to-head win in Week 1 proved to be the deciding factor in the selection committee’s decision.
With the top four seeds — No. 1 Indiana, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Georgia, and No. 4 Texas Tech — receiving first-round byes, the other eight teams now have a little under two weeks to prepare for their Round 1 matchups.
Below is the full schedule for all College Football Playoff first-round matchups as well as dates and times for the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, as well as the national championship game.
