Commanders’ Austin Ekeler Severly Injured in Last Seconds of Cowboys Game
Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler was hit hard in the waning seconds of the game against the Dallas Cowboys. Ekeler was down on the ground for a long time, and trainers immediately attended to him. The injury appeared to be a head injury, as he almost looked as though he was knocked out.
Ekeler was able to get up, but he needed to be assisted to the sideline. The way that he was walking also indicates that the injury he received was pretty severe. Players on both teams began clapping with Ekeler being walked to the sideline.
