Conor McGregor Drops Major Tease That Fedor Emelianenko is Joining BKFC
Conor McGregor is a part owner of the BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) and is one the company’s biggest hypemen. McGregor often appears at fights and press conferences to talk about the growth of the company.

While the BKFC Italy presser was ongoing, McGregor dropped some huge news. One bit of news is that he plans to compete with the organization very soon. He also revealed that fan-favorite MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko is set to join the BKFC.
McGregor was speaking to the crowd and fans when he was asked if Emelianenko will end his retirement to join the BKFC.
“We might have an announcement with Fedor Emelianenko. Hey Fedor, we’re waiting,” McGregor told cheering fans.

Emelianenko, otherwise known as “The Last Emperor,” is one of the biggest stars the MMA world has ever seen. The Russian-born knockout artist earned his stardom while fighting with the PRIDE organization.
Emelianenko would fight for M-1 Global, Strikeforce, RIZIN, and Bellator, but he never made his way into the UFC, much to the chagrin of MMA fans worldwide.
Emelianenko fought a who’s who of top heavyweight talent in his day, including Mark Coleman, Mirko Cro Cop, Mark Hunt, Andrei Arlovski, Fabricio Werdum, Dan Henderson, and many more.
Emelianenko stepped away from competing when he faced off against Ryan Bader for the Bellator heavyweight championship. “The Last Emperor” lost to Bader by TKO in the first round back in Feb. 2023.
Following the loss, it appeared that Emelianenko was not going to compete again. After nearly a two-year layoff, it appears that McGregor and the BKFC have levied an offer to the Russian star, or they are attempting to lure him to the rising fighting organization.
The BKFC has been attracting top talent and a lot of fighters who were once in the UFC and other promotions. The current heavyweight champion is Ben Rothwell, who has been dominating in the sport.
Rothwell vs. Emelianenko would be an incredible heavyweight fight to make, and it appears that McGregor is at least teasing the idea of the Russian knockout artist joining the BKFC.
Emelianenko has a current record of 40-7-1, with 16 of those fights being finishes, 15 by submission, and nine by decision. He has been one of the most devastating strikers in MMA history, and joining the ultra-violent BKFC organization might lead to another career resurgence.
