Danica Patrick Has Blunt Criticism of Kamala Harris With Pointed P Diddy Comment

Danica Patrick, known for her NASCAR and IndyCar careers, has recently swerved into politics in support of Donald Trump. Her political stance was made clear during the presidential race where she has emerged as an outspoken supporter of the President elect. Now, Patrick didn’t mince her words when she criticized Kamala Harris, who faced off against Trump in the election, and took aim at Harris’s celebrity supporters, including a subtle jab at parties hosted by music mogul P Diddy.

This is a big change for Patrick, who revealed that 2024 was the first year she’s exercised her right to vote, having previously sidelined politics to focus on her racing career.

Speaking on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime’, she reflected on this change in her life, admitting that she was too engrossed in her motorsports career to think about political matters. Interestingly, it was during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix that Patrick’s political curiosity peaked, specifically during her interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving as US Secretary of Health and Human Services under Trump.

Patrick’s support for Trump was proven by her vocal endorsement of his policies and a sharp critique of Hollywood’s backing for Harris.

“I never went to a Diddy party,” she said, taking a jab at the allegations surrounding the musician.

“I’m doing this because I love this country and there’s nobody that’s been tested more than Donald Trump on showing his love for this country — through indictments, house raids, mugshots, and getting literally shot,” she said.

Patrick describes herself as balancing between being a Republican and an Independent, rooted in principles of free speech and the integrity of leadership. As she puts it, “I think our country should be run by someone that knows business and has integrity. I believe we should be able to speak freely.”

The societal tension Patrick speaks of is palpable, as evidenced by security measures.

“I mean, I’m standing here, this is a very surreal situation. There is glass around me to make sure that nothing happens,” she said. “This is the time we’re living in. Nobody has been tested more than him on how much he wants you to have this amazing country not only great again, but better than it’s ever been.”

She continued:

“I love this country, and I have lived in other places. I believe when people of different opinions speak face to face, we realize we are more similar than different,” she admitted.

Patrick’s jump into political commentary has not been without controversy. Her outspoken nature and willingness to engage in contentious topics have made her a figure of interest and polarizing perspective. Her unapologetic statements and involvement with politically charged topics have invited a spectrum of reactions.

“I don’t believe everything anyone says. I have been very torn over the years if I should give a (crap) about politics or just live the life I want as an example. I have been doing the latter. The reaction today is definitely interesting… since all I said was, I love this country.”
